This policy describes how Classy Estimating (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our websites and the Classy Estimating supplement tool (the “Service”). Review it alongside our Terms of Service. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement you have with us, that agreement controls.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account data. For example, email address and credentials you provide when you register, plus identifiers we assign to your account.
- Billing data. If you subscribe, payment processing is handled by our payment provider (for example Stripe). We receive billing-related records they share with us (such as subscription status and customer identifiers), not your full card number.
- Content you submit. Files, text, and other materials you upload or enter so the Service can generate supplements, estimates, or related outputs.
- Support communications. Messages and attachments you send through support channels we offer.
- Technical and usage data. Such as IP address, browser type, general timestamps, diagnostic logs, and usage tied to plan limits (for example daily estimate counts).
2. How we use information
We use the information above to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, secure our systems, comply with law, and communicate with you about the Service.
3. AI and service providers
Parts of the Service may use third-party models or infrastructure to process your submissions and produce results. Those providers receive only what is needed to perform that processing. Their use of data may be governed by their own terms and policies in addition to our agreements with them.
4. Storage and retention
We store information for as long as needed to run the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods can vary by data type; for example, billing records may be kept longer than transient processing logs.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with vendors that help us operate the Service (hosting, payments, email, analytics, security, and similar functions), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our vendors operate.
